Self-Description: I smiled slightly at the camera, light tan, bright curly hair over my shoulder on the right side by sun and other side of dark curly hair, and wore a black t-shirt behind a bright tree on the right side and dark tree on the left side background.

I am a Chicago Native and resident in Bellingham, WA. I am the first MexicanAmerican generation in America after my parents moved to Chicago from Mexico for a fresh life. The family taught me how to share love and respect each other including Mexican cultures and traditions. Most of them are Spanish speaking and know basic American Sign Language including gestures as body language especially my older sister knows ASL very well. I have enjoyed drawing, painting, doing clay, etc since I was kid. I decided to move to the Pacific Northwest because I feel like I am missing something due to system oppressed BIPOC Deaf community members such as tools, resources, and access that's why I am still learning social justice vocabularies. Language Deprivation does have a spectrum so I am one of them because schools did not have tools, resources, or access for Neurodivergent kids like me in the 90s in Chicago, Il. I identified intersectionality as Latinx, Deaf, Two Spirit, and Neurodivergent. It was so unexpected that I was also homeless for almost one year while I made videos and adapted my lifestyle. It was so challenging to stay healthy when I was homeless. Now, I have a place to sleep. I am also struggling with depression, anxiety and still learning how to use some tools such as self care, balance life, meditation, go out, energy, and foods. Be persistent and resilient.
